In 1991 begonnen Philippa en Roger Biles met het verkopen van hun zelfgemaakte geurkaarsen op een kraampje op de Portobello Road Market in West-Londen. Na jarenlang geurkaarsen te hebben geproduceerd voor enkele van 's werelds meest gerespecteerde merken, besloten Philippa en Roger in 2003 hun eigen merk, True Grace, op te richten.
