With Une Amande, perfumer Julien Rasquinet translates the softness of almond into a creamy, enveloping fragrance composition. The inspiration comes from the Greek myth of Phyllis and Demophon, in which the almond tree becomes a symbol of enduring love that blossoms again after a long wait.

Pink pepper, almond blossom, and heliotrope open lightly and softly. In the heart, bitter almond takes center stage, surrounded by orange blossom, jasmine, and creamy sandalwood. Tonka bean, benzoin, and vanilla then bring warmth, while a soft floral musk allows the composition to end close to the skin.

Une Amande is gourmand without being heavy: milky, powdery, and comfortable, with the characteristic bitterness of almond as a counterpoint. A perfume that feels like a soft embrace and slowly melts into the skin.

Usage advice

Apply Une Amande by Obvious to pulse points. For example, the insides of your elbows and the backs of your knees, or on your wrists and neck. Spray this bottle 1 or 2 times in the air and walk through the perfume cloud that forms to perfume your hair. Hair is a good carrier of perfume; it holds the scent very well. Feel free to reapply this perfume throughout the day, depending on your mood.
