Milky Blue is a gentle Oolong tea with a creamy, rounded character. The young leaves are plucked early and carefully hand-rolled, after which they are given a subtle milky nuance.

The soft, milky taste is created by briefly exposing the tea leaves to steam after rolling. This process softens the natural aromas of the oolong and gives the tea its rounded, creamy impression, without the addition of milk or flavorings.
In scent and taste, the tea is warm and soft, with light notes of white chocolate and nuts. When brewing, a soft, exotic freshness unfolds, rounded off by a mild, almost dessert-like softness. A tea that soothes and lingers, without overpowering.

Every Mariage Frères tea is carefully analysed and controlled to comply with European Regulation (EC) No. 848/2018. The 'Jardin Premier' label is only awarded to teas that meet the strict European Regulation (EC) No. 834/2007 due to their exceptional purity.

Usage advice

Place one cotton muslin tea bag in a teacup or teapot. Carefully pour 200 ml of 95-degree Celsius water over the bag. The flavors of the tea will be even better when using softened or mineral water. Let the tea leaves steep for 3 minutes. This ensures optimal extraction of flavor and aromas. Remove the tea bag from the cup or pot and enjoy your perfectly brewed Milky Blue tea.
