Description

A Rare Blue Tea from the Heart of New Zealand

For this extraordinary tea, Mariage Frères takes us to New Zealand, an unexpected origin in the world of tea. In the fertile Waikato region, named after the river of the same name – which means 'flowing water' in Maori – a landscape of exceptional biodiversity merges with the cultivation of this special tea.

In the north of the region, there is a small tea garden entirely dedicated to producing this unique cru, exclusively for Mariage Frères.

This Blue Tea™ from Mariage Frères belongs to the oolong family. The tea leaves are partially oxidized during the production process, allowing the tea to develop its own character and a beautiful balance between freshness and depth. At Mariage Frères, the name Blue Tea™ refers to this special tea category and not to the color of the infusion.

The tea is presented in a classic 50-gram Mariage Frères tea tin, packaged in an ivory-colored gift box with the distinctive silver logo.

Certification
