In the fertile Waikato region, named after the river of the same name – which means 'flowing water' in Maori – a landscape of exceptional biodiversity merges with the cultivation of this special tea.

In the north of the region, there is a small tea garden entirely dedicated to producing this unique cru, exclusively for Mariage Frères.

This Blue Tea™ from Mariage Frères belongs to the oolong family. The tea leaves are partially oxidized during the production process, allowing the tea to develop its own character and a beautiful balance between freshness and depth. At Mariage Frères, the name Blue Tea™ refers to this special tea category and not to the color of the infusion.

The tea is presented in a classic 50-gram Mariage Frères tea tin, packaged in an ivory-colored gift box with the distinctive silver logo.
