Bois Flotté by Chambre52 is a perfume that takes the senses on a soothing journey along the coast. Inspired by the sight of driftwood on the beach, perfumer Nicolas Beaulieu has created a composition that reflects the texture and character of sea-shaped wood.

A hint of fleur de sel evokes the sensation of fresh sea air. Then noble woods unfold: cedar and sandalwood, polished by the sea, revealing their secrets. To deepen the complexity, accents of nutmeg and turmeric leaves have been added, offering a spicy warmth. The molecules Coolwood and Solarys enhance the woody and salty facets, while black pepper oil adds a subtle sharpness.

Nicolas Beaulieu

Nicolas Beaulieu is een Franse parfumeur bij IFF, bekend om zijn liefde voor krachtige parfums met een duidelijke signatuur. Opgegroeid in een tuin vol geuren en operamuziek, raakte hij gefascineerd door parfumerie na een bezoek aan ISIPCA. Zijn carrière begon bij IFF en LMR, waar hij een diepe waardering ontwikkelde voor natuurlijke ingrediënten. Beaulieu werkte wereldwijd en keerde in 2008 terug naar Parijs. Zijn creaties, zoals La Vie Est Belle Soleil Cristal (Lancôme) en Invictus Legend (Paco Rabanne), combineren korte, krachtige formules met rijke emoties. Geïnspireerd door wijn en gastronomie, streeft hij naar parfums die direct raken en lang bijblijven.

Usage advice

Apply Soleil Tonka to your wrists, neck, inner elbows, or behind your knees. Spray 1-2 times in the air and walk through the perfume cloud to fragrance your hair as well. Hair retains fragrance for a long time. Reapply the perfume as needed, depending on your mood.

Al meer dan 20 jaar ontwikkelt Nicolas Dewitte parfums in samenwerking met de grootste neuzen van zijn generatie. Hij heeft zijn stijl verfijnd en streeft er vandaag naar om zijn visie op uitzonderlijke parfumerie te delen, die hij ziet als een middel tot zelfexpressie. Geboren op een eiland in de Franse Caraïben, haalt hij zijn inspiratie uit de intieme band die hij heeft opgebouwd met de oceaan, zijn passie voor surfen, maar ook uit de tropische geuren en de kleuren van de natuur.
Tijdens zijn reizen ontstond het idee voor Chambre52, waarin hij zijn meest intieme creaties aanbiedt, een zoektocht naar de verbinding met zichzelf en met anderen.
