Esta barra de labios nude de Le Rouge Français es la encarnación de un mágico amanecer sobre la antigua Nubia. Los tonos ocres de color marrón amarillento de los antiguos templos de piedra caliza se encienden con el calor del sol. Las brillantes notas rojizas de canela y nuez moscada añaden énfasis.
La sombra típica proviene de la planta Kite - Reseda luteola - una planta típica mediterránea. Fue utilizado por los tintoreros medievales, que lo conocían por su nombre italiano Arzica. Desde el siglo I al X d.C., desde Egipto hasta Palestina, fue la principal fuente de tinte amarillo anaranjado para la seda y la lana para grandes alfombras kilim con estampados florales del este de Anatolia.
